Hello Ego
Hello Ego is the vision of Long Beach-based bass and house producer John Knights of Kammerer, a lifelong musician and sound designer. Explorations of his distinctly textural and bouncy sound were born out of a desire to create movement, joy, and deep connection on the dance floor. John began his musical journey on the French horn at 8 years old, and after nearly two decades in the classical music world, he turned to analog and modular hardware in order to explore new realms of sound, style, and space. These unique analog instruments form the foundation from which Hello Ego’s sound has grown.
